Well we can understand why Home Depot and Lowe's might have a hard time getting shoppers excited about backyards and gardens in November. So it looks like they've taken things into their own hands by creating Spring Black Friday. Come to think of it, shouldn't this time of year be hosting the real Green Monday sales? Nonetheless, these two home-centered retailers have slapped Black Friday on their respective spring sales. The good news: Black Friday gets some much needed love in March. The not-so-good news: other than a few outliers, the discounts mostly land in the 20-30% off range... a considerable distance away from the 40-70% discount we like to see around Black Friday. Although calling these discounts "Black Friday" worthy may be a stretch, if your backyard is needing some love this would be a great time to check out the offerings from both Home Depot and Lowe's
