Tired of being a couch potato? Now is the time get your groove on with motion based gaming. If you couldn’t force yourself to be an early adopter of Wii’s fun but limited gameplay, prepare yourself for the wave of launch titles coming for both PS3 Move and the XBOX 360 Kinect.

Early reviews for Kinect are extremely positive, with people able to quickly and easily set up their 360′s to use the Kinect and immediately immersing themselves into motion based gaming. Unlike the PS3 Move and Wii, the Kinect needs no controller – instead a series of cameras capture the user’s motions and map them to their avatar on screen. The interface is intuitive, performs very well, and if early titles like the included Kinect Adventures are any indication – extremely robust. Be forewarned you will need to move your furniture if you live in a small apartment (like this reviewer). Make sure that in addition to the Kinect you also check out Dance Central – one of the Kinect launch titles. This title from the same company that brought you Rockband is an outstanding dance game that really gets you involved in the gameplay – no cheating here – you have to dance.
