The much-awaited Black Friday in July at Target is in full swing today, and apparently the deals are pretty amazing. The sale is storewide, with Black Friday deals on electronics, apparel and footwear, toys, home decor, patio and garden items, baby gear, jewelry and a whole lot more.

We got quite a few sneak peeks before Black Friday in July arrived. Target tried something unique leading up to the sale: they got people to tweet about the event – every 500 tweets, they revealed another product that would be discounted come today. So, people got to see what types of products and savings they could expect beforehand, which we thought was pretty cool.

Some of the highlights we’ve seen are a Char-Broil Magnum 500 Quantum infrared three-burner gas grill, regularly priced at $379.99, now on for $299.99. Also awesome for summer is a 4-piece patio set at $200 off, now just $299. Electronics deals include a Kodak waterproof mini video camera with 2GB MicroSD for $49.99 (50% off),a Philips 32″ Class 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV for $299 (regularly $429.99) and a Vizio 19″ Class 720p 60Hz LED HDTV for $99.99 (regularly $169.99).

If you’re looking for deals on new stuff for the home, there’s also 50% off select bedding and 30% off select appliances and housewares.

The Target Black Friday in July sale is only online, which is ideal as you can avoid crowds and get exactly what you want without leaving the house. And, summer is a great time to start packing away holiday gifts when you find those gotta-have-it items (I’m sure many moms would agree)!
