Here's some pretty cool news. Lowe's is getting hip to social media for Black Friday 2014 and the outcome promises to be a whole ton of fun for eagerly-waiting shoppers. Starting Nov. 2 Lowe's will launch a series of Vines (short video posts) revealing their biggest and best Black Friday sales, deals and discounts. It doesn't get any more clever than finding out about the hottest deals through a popular social media platform!
This Vine campaign isn't the first time Lowe's has used social media for their Black Friday promotions either. In 2013 they leveraged Pinterest to inform customers what deals would be available. They're quite the progressive company.
In other news, Lowe's has also made the decision to stay closed for Thanksgiving Dinner this Black Friday 2014. It seems that not only are they wise to the times, they're also leading the charge when it comes to providing a positive and tradition-friendly Black Friday 2014.
