Black Friday came early to some. Some Walmart store shelves were cleared like it was Black Friday, whereas in other stores, no one could buy anything due to a glitch in the nation's welfare system.

Problems with the Electronic Benefits Transfer led to retail mayhem, where cards no longer had any spending limits, and some certainly shopped like it was Black Friday.

Police exclaimed that "It was worse than any Black Friday." If you've been shopping on Black Friday, you get the picture of how chaotic things were this weekend for stores in at least 1/3 of the U.S.
