On Sept. 14, Macy's announced that stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, joining the laundry list of retailers making the same decision this year. Macy’s just released its Black Friday shopping days plus a tiny teaser of what shoppers can expect.
What we know
Macy's entire Black Friday sale runs Nov. 24 to 28. According to its site, the deals will run in stores, on the app and online, but, given its previous announcement, stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. So, presumably, those who want to shop on Thanksgiving Day itself will have to use the app or shop online.
Macy’s also announced a sneak peek about what shoppers will see during the Black Friday sale which includes, “everything from clothes, shoes and accessories to home essentials and furniture — there’s something for everyone,” according to the website.

Macy’s hasn’t officially announced its Black Friday shopping hours yet. Stay tuned for that announcement.
