Attention Walmart shoppers! The Walmart 2016 Toy Book has just been released and it does not disappoint with 32 pages of deals on top toy picks. The toy wonderland includes kid-approved toys like Star Wars Episode VII Electonic R2D2, Trolls Hugtime Poppy Doll, and Hot Wheels Racing Playset. It makes us wish that we could be kids again!

The prices in the toy book are good October 30th through December 24th, but we recommend waiting until the Black Friday 2016 sales for the best deals. We also suggest letting your little one flip through the pages of this catalog as they make their Christmas list. 

One of Black Friday's biggest players (Walmart, of course) has just issued a press release that gives us insight into their holiday plans. 

For many Black Friday shoppers, the biggest shopping day of the year wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Walmart (or at least their website).

The country’s largest shopping mall is taking a stand on Thanksgiving this year. That’s right! The Mall of America wants you to enjoy your turkey dinner, so they won’t open until Black Friday 2016.

Why a Black Friday Opening?

The shopping complex, which is home to retail giants like Macy’s and H&M, has started holiday shopping festivities on Turkey Day since 2012. However, officials are ending this tradition to allow workers to enjoy time with their families. Even if you love shopping, family time is something everyone can support.

Walmart opened its 2016 Holiday Layaway on September 2 to help you get a jump start on your holiday shopping. After all, the early shopper gets the goods!

It’s only September, but we’re already seeing hints of Black Friday 2016. Both Walmart and Toys"R"Us have already released their top toy picks and we expect to see our first Black Friday 2016 ad leak in about a month.

While most people love a good holiday deal, some are wondering why Black Friday seems to start earlier each year. As it turns out, the reason comes down to us.

The holiday shopping season is starting to get underway with retailers promoting coveted items for the gift giving season! To kick things off, Walmart unveiled their Top 25 Toy List for the 2016 holiday season.

They also announced the return of their popular layaway program which started on September 2. Take advantage of this to help you stay on budget and get a head start on your holiday shopping. There is no fee to start a layaway account and you only need to put down 10% (or $10, whichever is greater). Customers will have until December 12 to pay off their account.

Like previous years, Walmart polled hundreds of kids to find out what's on their wish lists. The retail giant then used this information to create their Top 25 Toy List. They will have more than four hundred exclusive toys in addition to the six toys that are exclusives on the Chosen By Kids list

Black Friday is here! ... sort've. Home improvement stores Home Depot and Lowe's have both launched Spring Black Friday promotions that will be going on throughout the weekend.
